Frequently Asked Questions for replacement kitchen and bedroom doors

I would like to cover the sides of my cabinets to match my doors.

End panels are made in exactly the same way as the doors so measure each panel required and add this to your order as if it was a door.

What does vertical or horizontal grain mean?

When you order your doors you can specify the direction in which the grain may run .If you were to select horizontal this would mean that the grain would run left to right on all pieces in your order. Vertical would mean the grain would run from top to bottom. The grain direction only applies to the wood grain colours.

I’m replacing existing doors, how do I measure for new one’s?

If your existing doors fit ok then the easiest way is to remove the existing doors and measure them. See our section for measuring which offers more detail.

Do I have to cut the hinge holes in the doors myself?

No, included in the price is for us to do this for you .We will require you to provide the measurements where the hinge holes are set. (See our section on how to measure for hinge holes). If you prefer to cut your own hinge holes we will offer a 10% discount off all doors and drawer fronts.

Can I order matching cornice etc

We offer a choice of brushed steel effect modern cornice/pelmet or aluminium effect modern cornice/pelmet which we feel both finishes will work well with all the colours within the pinnacle door range. We do offer matching floor plinth for base cupboards, which can also be cut to use as narrow fillers. Plinth is also available in brushed steel effect finish.

Is it possible to order open frame glass doors?

We do not offer open frames/glass doors. We have found that the modern look of the pinnacle doors do not lend themselves to a more traditional look, which is created by glass display cabinets.
